- At last word, the two female Champions are expected to switch brands this coming Monday in the WWE Draft. Maryse is expected to bring her WWE Divas Championship over to Raw with WWE Women’s Melina heading to SmackDown.
And that’s not all. Candice Michelle should be getting her wish as she is currently penciled in to join SmackDown. As a result, this opens up a spot for Maria on Raw as she will be returning to her former stomping grounds.
The latter two moves will be made during Wednesday’s Supplemental Draft.
Update on Former WWE and ECW Announcer Taz

Several readers sent word that former WWE announcer and ECW World champion Taz (back to his pre-WWE spelling) has launched his “official online presence”
The Facebook page notes that Taz will be available for “limited convention signings and appearances” and can be booked by contacting
BookTaz@gmail.com with “serious inquiries only.”
My guess is that the first person to bring him in for a signing will probably clean up well as I can’t think of any official signings he’s done since retiring as an active professional wrestler a few years back.
Regarding plans for next week’s annual WWE Draft, it is pretty much a given that the Raw roster will be beefed up come Monday.
The feeling is that the Raw roster is weak at the moment as a result of last year’s draft when SmackDown was beefed up. What with the uncertainty of the future of MyNetworkTV, they’re looking to bulk up Raw again. WWE officials had Raw touring with ECW due to the feeling the roster is much too slim on its own.
Company officials are also looking to give fresh new starts to a few wrestlers and many feel John Morrison and The Miz will be split up and moved into singles competition.
The feeling is that Raw won’t lose anyone of significance as Raw is being bulked back up to the “A show” — as its always been looked at.
Also, expect a few more releases once everyone has been sorted. Those taken in the Supplemental Draft should definitely be on the lookout as last year, three wrestlers were released before they even got to debut on their new brand (Chuck Palumbo, Big Daddy V and Trevor Murdoch), one still has yet to debut (DH Smith), and three more were pretty much a wash (Matt Striker as a wrestler, plus Deuce & Super Crazy
